“The proposed schematic program responds to the city’s real needs today, as confirmed by its Mayor, and filtered through academic/educational per- spective. The authors will be encouraged to deal with the program critically and transform it, in order to respond to how they define the problem after they understand the problem through careful study.

It involves a heavy dose of complex urban design context, urban history, environmental design, a reasonable complex program and size, and deals with the shape of public space as well including the adjacent Piazza Isolo and Giarina Public Gar- dens. The project will be run following international architectural competition standards.”
